Dating relationships can be complicated. They don’t have to be, but often times they become that way. One way to make it less complicated is to build it on the right foundation from the very beginning. 

Proverbs 31:30
Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the LORD will be greatly praised.

Many times, it’s someone’s looks (beauty) or personality (charm) that attracts us to them, at first. But, what is their relationship with the Lord like? Do they have a personal relationship with God? 

That answer will likely affect whether your relationship will be mostly smooth or mostly rocky. And it’s a great question to talk through, together! 

When you date someone, build your relationship on the right foundation. Love you guys!

This is The Daily for Thu, Nov 5, 2026. 

This is the shortest chapter in the Bible. It’s also in the exact middle of the Bible. You could say, it’s “the center of it all.”

Psalm 117:1-2
Praise the LORD, all you nations. Praise him, all you people of the earth. For his unfailing love for us is powerful; the LORD’s faithfulness endures forever. Praise the LORD!

How appropriate that “the center,” or “the core,” of God’s Word focuses on His unfailing love and enduring faithfulness.

Prayer: Thank you Lord, for loving me with unfailing love. When I have doubts, help me to remember that I can trust you to be faithful. I love you and praise you with my life today. Amen.

Psalm 94:18-19 
I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O LORD, supported me. When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.

Some people think God is out to get them – trying to catch them making a mistake. But, He’s not.

Aren’t you glad God isn’t watching you like a baseball umpire, waiting to call a strike or call you out? He’s not waiting to throw a flag like a football referee, if you commit a penalty or make a mistake. 

He’s there to support you if you start to slip because of His UNFAILING love for you. That changes everything.

It begins in your mind. When you’re not sure about a situation, you can trust in Him, knowing He’s got it. He’s got you. He comforts and renews us when we’re low. What a God!

He loves you so much! I love you too.

It’s Election Day across the country and here at home. Soon, you’ll be voting and helping to make major decisions for our nation as well – and it matters. 

As with any important decision, it’s wise to pray about how you should vote. Remember that trusting in people-power will ultimately let you down. The government won’t solve all your problems – it can’t. Vote, then keep your trust in God.

Proverbs 29:2 
When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice. But when the wicked are in power, they groan.

Psalm 118:8
It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in people.

This is The Daily for Mon, Nov 2, 2026. Each Monday, we are exploring and building our identity in Christ.

Isaiah 43:4 
…You are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you.

Think about how simple and straightforward this is. The One who created the planet, the universe even, looks at you and says, “You are precious to Me, and honored and loved by Me.”

Man, how valuable are you? I’ll tell you… 

VERY valuable. 

INCREDIBLY valuable.

More valuable – More valuable than words can describe…

Today, live like you’re “valuable,” no matter how you feel, because you truly are – it’s part of your true identity in Christ Jesus. Nobody, nothing gets to take that away from you.
